Wayfare EP out now
Proudly presenting a 4-track EP inspired by travels across different cultures and continents.
Today I’m proud to present you my latest EP: Wayfare. For this EP I aimed to go back to the way I originally started producing music: chopping up and combining dozens of samples from different records, decades and genres in order to create completely new sounds and emotions. Only this time I wanted to apply this approach to my collection of live instrument recordings that I have gathered over the years, rather than to a library of old records. Limiting myself to a certain set of sounds and gear is something I’ve been doing more and more over the past few months, as it forces me to try out now thing and be more creative with a limited sonic palette.
The result is an organic four track EP that has a timeless and classic sound, weaving in and out of chillout, downtempo and jazz genres.
